the sensational Mt Rogers Scouts will once again provide some adventurous activities like the Double Flying Fox, the Hawkes Nest and the Rope Bridge - join in the fun and assist the Scouts celebrating 100 years of Scouting and the National Year of Scouting.
The PCYC (now located on Cartwright Street, Charnwood) will be present to showcase their adventurous and sporting prowess; along with Live Pro Wrestling.
Tickets
Pre-purchasing your Charny Carnival Tickets is a great way to save some cash. Prior to the Canrival, discounts apply to Gold and Silver Tickets Cards.
In the lead up to the Carnival the tickets are available fromthe front offices of both St Thomas Aquinas Primary and Charnwood-Dunlop Schhol.
On the Day, you can get Tickets cards at the Ticket Booths located on the Oval near the stage.
Cash is still accepted at all stores, but isn't it easier to have a card?

Cake Decorating Competition
A Cake Decorating Competition will be one of the many highlights at this year's Charny Carnival. The cake stall is always the place to find a delicious treat. Once again you will be able to find something to tantalise your taste buds, and at the same time check out the many remarkable decorated cakes on display.

Local television station Channelvision, Channel 50 on the TransTV Network, was the media sponsor for the 2007 Charny Carnival. You can find out about the Charny Carnival on Channelvision in the lead-up to the big day on 17 March. On Carnival day, Channelvision’s spunky and dynamic presenters, Erin and Scotty, will be the hosts of our quirky “Best Mullet” competition and our famous singing competition “Charny IdolStar”. Channelvision will also have a film crew at the Carnival recording the excitement of the biggest day on the Charnwood calendar!!! How fantastic was the 2006 Charny Carnival??
It was such an amazing sight to see thousands of people gathering at the oval to join in the wonderful Carnival experience. Definite highlights for the kids were the fantastic rides - The Hurricane, Dodgem Cars, Giant Slides, Jumping Castle, Pony and Donkey rides, the Trackless Train - and the Pro Live - Wrestling arena.
